Thomas Lloyd Hall
Thomas Lloyd Hall, 93, of Carmichaels, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, December 9, 2018, in Rolling Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation, Waynesburg.
He was born June 2, 1925, in Blacksville, W.Va., a son of Roy and Pearl Whitehill Hall.
Mr. Hall was a graduate of Aleppo High School and served with the U.S. Army during World War II in Italy.
He worked as a carpenter his entire life and was a 70-year member of United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, Pittsburgh.
Mr. Hall served as an elder at Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, Carmichaels, and youth leader at Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church. He was always supportive of the youth at Greene Valley Presbyterian.
Mr. Hall enjoyed oil painting, vegetable gardening, woodworking and his beloved dog, Raven. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
On June 14, 1947, he married Inez M. Kiger, who died July 16, 1999.
Surviving are a son, Larry Allen Hall of Beckley, W.Va.; a daughter, Connie Ann Hall, at home; three grandsons, Christopher Allen Hall, Brent Lloyd Hall and wife Bethany and Adam Thomas Hall; two great-grandchildren, Payton Hall and Andrew Hall; a brother, Russell Hall and wife Linda of Waynesburg; a sister, Sandy Mitchell and husband Gene of McMurray; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Chester Hall and Erwin Roy Hall.
Family and friends are welcome from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Yoskovich Funeral Home, 724-966-5500, Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street, Carmichaels. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 14, in Greene Valley Presbyterian Church, 104 East Greene Street, Carmichaels, with the Rev. P. Keith Larson officiating. Interment will follow in Blacksville Cemetery, Wayne Township, Greene County.
