William D. Roach

William D. “Dean” Roach of Bulger died peacefully at his farm, with his family by his side, Thursday, December 13, 2018.

Dean was born February 7, 1950, on the family farm in Bulger, a son of the late George and Emma Zalaznik Roach.

He attended Burgettstown High School and continued his lifelong education on the family dairy farm.

Dean is survived by his sister, Emogene (Bill) Keating; sister-in-law Beth Roach; nephews William Lugalia, David (Amanda) Roach and Daniel Roach; two great-nephews, Jason (Jen) Shield and David Roach; three great-nieces, Sarah, Bre and Gabby Roach; and a great-great-nephew, Austin Shield.

In addition to his parents, deceased are his sister, Nancy Lugalia; brother David Roach; and niece Terri Shields.

Dean was a life member of the National Rifle Association and most enjoyed deer, coon and rabbit hunting, and sharing his knowledge of hunting with family and friends.

Family and friends are welcome for visitation from noon until 2 p.m., the time of service, Sunday, December 16, in Young Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, PA 15021, 724-947-2049, www.youngfhinc.com.
