Betty J. Davis, 72, of Canonsburg, died Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Townview Health and Rehabilitation Center, Canonsburg.
She was born November 1, 1946, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Charles and Sarah Williams Robinson.
Betty worked for South Hills Convalescent Center for 30 years.
She was a member of Mount Olive Baptist Church, Canonsburg.
Ms. Davis enjoyed playing cards and the lottery.
Surviving are two sons, Robert D. “Butch” Robinson (Toi Jones) of Washington and Kendell L. Davis (Margaret) of Canonsburg; her daughter and caregiver, Holly Davis, with whom she resided; nine grandchildren, Treyvon Mulen, Jamar Davis, Jasmine Robinson (Alex Kramer), Robert “Storm” Robinson (Rashai Law), Shawnta Davis, Kendell Davis Jr., Paige Davis, Kionta Davis and Keyshaun Davis; 16 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are a daughter, Margaret Davis, who died in infancy; two brothers, Charles Potter and Charles Robinson; and two sisters, Stella Wakefield and Gladys Meredith.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday in McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home Ltd., Robert K. McIlvaine, owner/supervisor, 27 Cherry Ave., Houston, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 21. Interment will be private.
