David Raymond Van Norman Sr., 76, of Wind Ridge, passed away Thursday, December 6, 2018 in his home.
David was born August 7, 1942, in Phillipsburg, N.J., a son of the late Raymond and Harriett Cole Van Norman. He was a member of Sugar Grove Union Church in McCracken and retired from AM Guard Co.
He was preceded in death by sister Joan Campanaro and brother Richard Van Norman.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Welling Van Norman; two daughters, Melody (Mark) Yetter of Banger and Nancy (Dale) Jacoby of Wind Gap; two sons, Richard (Bell) Van Norman of Core, W.Va. and David (Darlene) Van Norman Jr. of Wind Ridge; ten grandchildren, Coralee, Joshua, David, Sheryl, Christal, Brandi, Beth Ann, Will, TJ and Brett; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 22, in Sugar Grove Union Church, McCracken, with Pastor David Lund officiating.. Arrangements by Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 39 Maple Avenue, Cameron, W.Va.
