Jeffrey Darryl Waag, 58, of Palm Harbor, Fla., died suddenly Saturday, December 8, 2018, of a heart attack in his home.

Jeff was a graduate of Carson Long Military Academy in central Pennsylvania, and later earned a bachelor of science degree in geology from the University of South Florida. Jeff became a registered geologist and worked for an environmental company in Florida. His favorite pastime was fishing, which he thoroughly enjoyed in the many waterways of Florida.

Jeff is preceded in death by his mother, Louise Waag, who died in 2005.

He is survived by his father, Fred E. Waag of McMurray; his wife Petra and daughter Virginia of Coburg, Germany; sister Linda Lesko of Belmont, Ohio; sister Lisa Bodine of Sewickley; and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service and burial will be private.
