Andrea Pruce
Andrea “LuLu” Pruce, 75, of Canonsburg, passed away peacefully Sunday morning, December 16, 2018, in her home.
She was born December 17, 1942, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Michael and Carmella Fusco DelBene, who preceded her in death.
On August 31, 1963, she married Joseph F. Pruce, the love of her life, who passed away February 28, 2017.
Andrea was Catholic and was a faithful parishioner of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Canonsburg.
She was a 1960 graduate of Canon-McMillan High School.
Mrs. Pruce was employed by DeConcilis Eye and Vision Center in Canonsburg for 34 years, where she was the office manager.
From 1994 until 2015, alongside her husband, she managed JP Awards, a business that provided trophies, plaques and other high quality awards to local schools, organizations and businesses.
Lulu was extremely charitable. She also had many interests and hobbies including cooking for her family during all of the holidays, attending her grandchildren’s events and helping anyone in need. Previously, she was an avid bowler in several bowling leagues and also enjoyed playing cards with friends. Above all, her joy was her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons Scott (Cindy Rotunda Pruce) of Nashua, N.H., and Gary (Linda Bruner Pruce) of Frederick, Md.; two grandsons, Alexander Pruce of Manhattan, N.Y., and Jordan Pruce of Nashua; two granddaughters, Paige Pruce of Vienna, Va., and Jarin Pruce of Fredrick, Md.; brother Michael DelBene (Rosie) of Bethel Park; sisters Constance Dadowski (Gilbert) of Coraopolis and Victoria DelBene of Canonsburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Salandra Funeral and Cremation Services Inc., Joseph P. Salandra, LFD, owner/supervisor and Darla A. Tripoli, LFD, 304 West Pike Street, Canonsburg, where departing prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, December 29. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Catholic Church, 3017 West Pike Street, Canonsburg. Interment will be private.
