Donna Faye Elliott
Donna Faye Elliott, 76, of Imperial, went home to the Lord Monday, December 24, 2018.
She was born May 29, 1942, in McDonald, a daughter of the late Vernon Ross and Irene Victoria Bennett Perkins.
Mrs. Elliott was a member of the 1960 graduating class of Canon-McMillian High School, graduating as Salutatorian. She worked for H.J. Heinz USA in Pittsburgh as a consumer relations manager for over 30 years. She then worked as a teacher’s aide for West Allegheny.
She was a member of McDonald First Baptist Church, where she was a member of the choir and a former trustee and treasurer. She also was a member of Mary Chapter 24 of OES, PHA.
Mrs. Elliott enjoyed reading and having a glass of wine.
She is survived by her husband Ken, whom she married July 7, 1979.
Also surviving are two sons, Lance C. (Michelle) Dempster of Imperial and Chad (Benjara) Elliott of Columbia, S.C.; three sisters, Linda Perkins of McDonald, Kimberly (Janet) Perkins of Pittsburgh and Lisa Perkins-Khan of Columbia, Md.; a brother, James (Connie) Perkins of Northampton; four grandchildren, Lance, Brandon and Jalen Dempster, and Zoey Elliott; and six great-grandchildren.
Deceased are two sisters, Ethel Edwards and Patricia Burnett; brother Vernon Joseph Perkins; and a grandson, Jordan Dempster.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Nation Funeral Home Inc., 220 E. Lincoln Ave., McDonald. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, December 31, in First Baptist Church, 141 N. McDonald St., McDonald. Interment will follow in Robinson Run Cemetery.
