Pauline C. Mason
Pauline C. Mason, 95, of Waynesburg, died Tuesday, December 25, 2018.
She was born December 28, 1922, in Swartz, a daughter of the late Samuel A. and Catherine L. Shoup Mason.
Pauline was a 1942 graduate of Waynesburg High School.
She worked at the former SouthPenn Telephone Co. and Windstream Communications before retiring. She also worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” at Parker Appliance in Cleveland, Ohio, for the war effort during WWII and at one time for Dr. Austin and GC Murphy Company, both in Waynesburg.
Pauline was a member of Mather Christian Church.
Surviving are a niece, Donna Henderson of Washington; three nephews, Walter Henderson of Hermitage, Randy Henderson of Irwin and Jeff Mason of Windham, Ohio; and several great-nieces, nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two sisters, Irene Henderson and Ilah Virginia Mason, who died in infancy; a brother, Samuel J. Mason; and two nephews, Keith and Gary Mason.
Friends will be received from noon to 2 p.m., the hour of service, Friday, December 28, in Behm Funeral Home, 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson, Gregory P. Rohanna, supervisor, with the Rev. Ken Jones officiating. Interment will follow in Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Mather Christian Church, P.O. Box 37, Mather, PA 15346.
