Gary Franklin Morgan, 85, formerly of Scott Township, went to take his place with the Lord Thursday, December 27, 2018.
He was born April 14, 1933.
He was the beloved husband for 57 years of Lois J. New Morgan; dear father of Terri Ann (Sean) Mallory and Gary F. (Debbie) Morgan; loving grandfather of Ian and Garrett Mallory and Daniel and Kevin Morgan; and brother of Charles W. (Betty) Morgan, Mildred M. (late Arthur) Miller, Shirley H. (late David) Atkinson and Elsa G. (late James) Thompson.
Gary was raised in Washington and attended Chartiers High School. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. After the Army, he attended the Art Institute and then worked for People’s Natural Gas Co. Gary earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Pittsburgh.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge and Syria Temple.
Friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in William Slater II Funeral Service, 1650 Greentree Road, Scott Township. Funeral service will be private.
