Viola A. Ruzzi Brinska, 88, passed peacefully Monday, February 5, 2018, in her home in Finleyville.
She was born January 11, 1930, in Curry, a daughter of Vincenza and Filippo Ruzzi.
Mrs. Brinska was the beloved wife of the late Joseph Brinska; mother of Lorraine (William) Noel and Rebecca Slattery; grandmother of Max Noel, Heather (Garrett) Lee, Peter Noel and Angie (Peter) Allen; proud great-grandmother of Holden, Braxton, Evelyn, William, Lincoln and Arlen; and sister of Tina (Bud) Klos, Prina Franks and the late Jean (Dino) Pantanella, Louise (Bill) Beadling, Rose (John) Siciliano and Peter (Arlene) Ruzzi.
She was a retired employee of Bureau of Mines in South Park.
Mrs. Brinska was a member of the Forever Young group in Finleyville.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, February 9, in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Finleyville.
