She was born November 19, 1921, in Oakdale, a daughter of the late Ignatz and Bertha Tarap. One of 11 children, she was blessed with a rich childhood and was always proud to celebrate her Hungarian heritage.

She often recalled one of the greatest thrills of her life when, while at work, she had the honor of meeting Eleanor Roosevelt.

Mrs. Miller was a member of the Presbyterian Church since 1958 and enjoyed many years of friendship, fellowship and service to the church. She was also a longtime member of Canal Quilters and was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Surviving are a daughter, Marilyn (Bill) Honabarger of Lancaster, Ohio; grandchildren John of Columbus, Ohio, and Darcie (Jon) Oemcke of Birmingham, Mich.; great-grandchildren Bella, Ellie, Dawson, Sophie and Virginia; great-great-granddaughter Elena; and many nieces and nephews.

Her family was the greatest joy of her life.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 p.m., the time of memorial service, Sunday, February 18, in Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home, Coshocton, with the Rev. Jonathan Carlisle officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in McDonald.
