Linda L. Hayes, 63, of Burgettstown, formerly of Washington, died Tuesday, February 20, 2018, in Premier Health Care, Chartiers Township.
She was born October 13, 1954, in Washington, a daughter of Clifford and Anna Wolf Dille.
Mrs. Hayes enjoyed reading and crossword puzzles and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On July 18, 1974, she married Freddy D. Hayes Jr., who passed away August 9, 2001.
Surviving are two sons, Freddy D. (Crystal) Hayes III of Burgettstown and Michael (Dawn) Hayes of Washington; daughter Christy (Paul) Hayes of Burgettstown; six grandchildren, Dakota Mickle, Cheyenne McCartney, Freddy D. Hayes IV, Chloe I. Hayes, Kristine Stufflet and Paul “Bum” Prevost; great-grandson Landon; brother Lloyd Dille of Washington; two sisters, Beverly Dille of Washington and Charlotte Keener of Grove City; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Olga Mae Phillips, Jane Holmes and Louise Salisbury, and two brothers, June and Rex Dille.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Hummell Jones Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, Thomas W. Hummell, supervisor, Douglas M. Jones, director, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 26. Pastor Daniel Keener will officiate. Interment will follow in Mt. View Cemetery, Dallas, W.Va.
