Louise “Gina” Rudy, 89, of Coal Center, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, in Lasosky’s Personal Care Home, Clarksville.
She was born in Italy, a daughter of the late Pete and Dominica Rucci.
Mrs. Rudy was a 1936 graduate of East Pike Run High School and Pennsylvania Beauty Academy.
She was a homemaker and self-employed hairdresser.
Mrs. Rudy was a former member of St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Daisytown.
Surviving are two children, Robert Rudy (Diane) of McMurray and Diana Hopfinger (Anthony) of Florida; two grandchildren, Matthew Maund and Daniel Rudy; a great-grandchild, Keely Josey; two great-great-grandchildren, Ivory Grace and Elsie Josey; a brother, John Rucci; a sister, Zita Bodzer; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, George H. Rudy, who died April 4, 2016; and three grandchildren, Natalie, Nicole and Brian Rudy.
All services are private and under the direction of John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville. Interment will be in National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Cecil Township.
