Theresa Ferraro DaPra of Peters Township peacefully passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018, on her 90th birthday.
She was the beloved wife of Gilio John DaPra for 66 years; loving mother of Diane (Jeffrey) Pierrard, Annette (Bobby) Lewis, Dennis (Lisa) DaPra, the late Carla Morasca and Daniel DaPra; proud grandmother of Jenna, Emily, RJ, Chelsey, Luca, Amber, Gabriella, Gianna, Celena and Isabella; treasured daughter of the late Nicholas and Mary Ferraro; and caring sister of Joan Shine, the late Frances Zacchero, Joseph Ferraro and Raymond Ferraro. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Mrs. DaPra was a past toastmistress of Peters Township Century Club. She was also a member of Monday Evening Women’s Club, Canonsburg, and was in the choir at St. Benedict the Abbot Church. She enjoyed bowling and playing bridge with all her friends.
She will be remembered for her Catholic faith, caring nature, being a superb cook and love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She was happiest when she was surrounded with family and friends.
The staff at McMurray Hills Manor and AHN Hospice provided care and support for Mrs. DaPra.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Beinhauer Family Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 2828 Washington Road, McMurray (724-941-3211). A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, February 26, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, McMurray. Entombment will be in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.
