Louis Aglio, 92, of Centerville, formerly of California, died Sunday, February 25, 2018.
He was born Monday, August 3, 1925, in California, a son of the late Rosario and Angela Tagilarino Aglio.
He was a member of UAW Local 544.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, are his wife, Shirley Aglio; four brothers, Angelo “Red,” Anthony “Jiggs,” James “Mac” and Joseph Aglio; a sister, Josephine Calcara; and a son, David Aglio.
Left to cherish his memory are two sons, Bruce Aglio and wife Mary of Kernersville, N.C., and Chris Aglio of Middletown, R.I.; five grandchildren, Gina Stout, Ross Aglio and wife Sarah, Jennifer Aglio and partner Megan Morrissey, Krista Shelton and Brandon Aglio and wife Kellie; and six great-grandchildren, Darren and Dylan Stout, Samuel and Daniel Aglio, Riley Shelton and Quinn Morrissey-Aglio.
He leaves behind his longtime companion, Mary Tretinik, with whom he made his home for several years.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the time of services, Saturday, March 3, in Mariscotti Funeral Home Inc., Anthony N. Mariscotti, supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, with Pastor Julie Kolacz officiating. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, California.
