Billie N. Kennedy
Billie N. Kennedy, 68, of Dilliner, died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, December 30, 2017, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born August 6, 1949, in Washington, a son of the late Minor N. and Alberta M. Cooper Kennedy.
Mr. Kennedy was a 1969 graduate of Mapletown High School. He resided most of his life in the Greensboro area.
He was an artilleryman with the U.S. Army in Vietnam.
Mr. Kennedy worked at Jones & Laughlin Steel Corp. mine in Bobtown and U.S. Steel Corp. Robena and Kirby mines. He was a member of United Mine Workers of America Local 2300.
He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
On September 13, 1970, he married Dorothy I. Rowe, who survives.
Also surviving are a son, William Nelson Kennedy and wife Jenny of Garards Fort; two daughters, Bobby J. Kennedy at home and Marsha M. Kennedy of Canonsburg; two grandchildren, Lawrence C. Kennedy and Samantha R. Riley; two great-grandchildren, Livia Mae Riley and Ezra Nelson Riley; a brother, Albert E. Kennedy and wife Nancy of La Plata, Md.; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased are two brothers, Floyd L. Kennedy and Ralph J. Kennedy.
