Anna Rosa Marinelli died Thursday, January 4, 2018, in Presbyterian SeniorCare, Washington.

She leaves behind a son, Dr. Robert Marinelli and wife Irene of Morgantown, W.Va.; seven grandchildren and their spouses, Robert and Melissa Marinelli of Morgantown, Dr. Elizabeth and Matthew Laster of South Lake Tahoe, Calif., James Marinelli and Dr. EirAnne Edgar of Traverse City, Mich., Noelle and Brian Wolfe of Mt. Lebanon, Christopher and Jennifer Marinelli of Allison Park, Patrick and Michelle Oreski of Ontario and Marin Oreski of Jacksonville, Fla.; 10 great-grandchildren; and many close friends and relatives, including special friends Marie Bozich of Cokeburg, Jessie Perri of Washington and Dr. Art Dell Orto of Hardwich, Mass.

Deceased are her husband, Domenick; a son, James; a daughter, Donna Lee; and three brothers.

Mrs. Marinelli was born September 4, 1913, in San Stefano del Sessanio, Italy, and immigrated to Ellsworth in 1937. She moved to Cokeburg in 1947 and lived there until moving to Presbyterian SeniorCare in 2013.

She was a lifelong homemaker who loved to cook, garden and provide loving care for her children and grandchildren. Her homemade ravioli, pasta and other Italian foods could not be matched.

Mrs. Marinelli was a longtime member of St. Katharine Drexel Parish in Bentleyville, where she was active in Rosary Altar Society and Catholic Daughters.

Presbyterian SeniorCare and Family Hospice provided Mrs. Marinelli with compassionate care.

Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where a prayer service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 9. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Katharine Drexel Parish, Bentleyville campus, with the Rev. Jeremy Mohler officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to be sent to St. Katharine Drexel Parish, 126 Church Street, Bentleyville, PA 15314, and Presbyterian SeniorCare, 835 South Main Street, Washington, PA 15301.
