David M. Dursa

David M. Dursa, 49, of Carmichaels, formerly of Uniontown, died unexpectedly at 3:49 a.m. Friday, January 5, 2018, in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
He was born March 5, 1968, in Uniontown, a son of Margaret Mascella Dursa of Uniontown and the late Frank Dursa Sr.
Mr. Dursa was a graduate of Laurel Highlands High School and received a degree in business from West Virginia University Career College.
He was a member of St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church, Uniontown.
Mr. Dursa resided in Carmichaels for the past 20 years. He worked as a supervisor for J.C. Penney department store, Uniontown, and played lead guitar for Hit N Run for 20 years.
He cherished his time with his children’s activities.
On August 23, 1997, he married Joyce Clayton, who survives.
Also surviving are his children, Nathan M. Dursa and Claire E. Dursa, both at home; a brother, Frank Dursa Jr. and wife Maxine of New Albany, Ohio; three sisters, Barbara M. Janosick and husband Frank of Spokane, Wash., Janet M. Simko and husband Joseph of Connellsville and Carol A. Honse and husband Jay of Belleville, Ill.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Yoskovich Funeral Home (724-966-5500), Martin J. Yoskovich, funeral director, 300 South Vine Street (Route 88), Carmichaels, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 8, with Pastor John Rich Dorean officiating.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Carmichaels Area School District, Attention Music Department, 215 North Vine Street, Carmichaels, PA 15320.
