Roberta Ann Garn, 71, of McDonald, died Tuesday, January 2, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.

She was born September 4, 1946, a daughter of Robert and Violet Cheesebrough Grant.

Ms. Garn was a graduate of Fort Cherry High School. She was very active in Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion. Her passion was helping veterans.

Surviving are two sons, Donald Garn of McDonald and Steven Garn of Germany; a brother, Donald Grant of Waldon, N.Y.; and two sisters, Martha “Marcy” Poland of Renton, Wash., and Nancy Arent of Fort Worth, Texas.

A memorial service to celebrate her life will be announced at a later date.
