Bella Albano, 80, of Noblesville, Ind., formerly of Washington, died peacefully Saturday, January 6, 2018. She was born December 30, 1937, in Bishop, a daughter of the late Primo DePaoli and Thresa Nicola Petro.
After graduating from Canonsburg High School in 1955, she proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1956 to 1959 and was stationed in Germany. On March 7, 1964, she married Frank “Skip” Albano who died April 8, 1995. She worked in the family businesses, Albano’s Produce and Frank Anthony’s Produce. She later worked in the medical records department at Washington Hospital.
She will be missed by her three daughters, Thresa (Jeff) Joyce of Virginia Beach, Va., Rosie (Jim) White of Noblesville and Dr. Dina Albano of Woodbury, Conn.; three grandchildren, Noah and Marshall Joyce and Nicole White; two sisters, Rose (Jim) Courie and Adele (Larry) Dellapiazza; brother Jim (Robbie) Petro; and several nieces and nephews.
Family, friends and music were her passion and delight. She was most joyful when surrounded by her loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held 11 a.m. to noon, the time of a Memorial Service, Saturday, January 13, in Warco-Falvo Funeral Home, 336 Wilson Avenue, Washington.
