Bruno DallaPiazza, 95, of Oakdale, died Sunday, January 7, 2018, in St. Clair Hospital, Mt. Lebanon.
He was born September 2, 1922, in Noblestown, a son of the late Fortonato and Angelina Gumbalongo DallaPiazza.
Mr. DallaPiazza was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Robinson Township, and was a co-owner of Piazza Brothers Trucking Inc. He enjoyed dancing and playing cards.
Surviving are his grandson, Michael (Amy) Viverito of Oakdale; great-grandchild, Elena Viverito; several nieces and nephews and his companion, Rose Rederer.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores E. Louisa DallaPiazza; daughter, Bonita “Bonnie” L. Viverito; son-in-law, Anthony “Tony” Viverito; brothers, Frindo, Gilbert, Warren and Bill DallaPiazza; sisters, Zelinda Montgomery, Carmella DeVandry, Ida DallaPiazza and Olympia Mazzocco Elias.
Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in Thomas-Funeral Service Inc., 5000 Noblestown Road, Oakdale, 724-693-2800. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Roman Catolic Church, Robinson Township. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Moon Township.
