Carolyn J. Dusenberry, 77, of Mt. Morris, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2018, in Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va.
She was born Sunday, May 26, 1940, in Fairmont, W.Va., a daughter of the late Paul B. Pratt and Lenna R. Curry Pratt.
Mrs. Dusenberry loved feeding wildlife and was an avid supporter of Humane Society of Greene County.
She worked for several years as a cashier for Clover Farm in Mt. Morris.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Glenn M. Dusenberry, whom she married September 18, 1956.
Also surviving are a daughter, Dixie D. Adams and husband Danny of Arthurdale, W.Va.; two grandchildren, April Biddle and husband Joshua and Andrea Loughry and companion Steven Nine; and five great-grandchildren, Paige, Faith, Cody, Wyatt and Lenna.
At the request of the deceased, all arrangements are private. There will be no public visitation or services. Burial will be in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Mt. Morris. Arrangements are entrusted to Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 324 Mt. Morris Road, P.O. Box 478, Mt. Morris, PA 15349.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Greene County, 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370, or Preston County Animal Shelter, 278 Poor Farm Road, Kingwood, WV 26537.
