Pauline Reid, 90, of Burgettstown, died Monday, January 8, 2018, in her home.

She was born October 30, 1927, in Atlasburg, a daughter of the late Frank and Mary Maczko.

Mrs. Reid was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting, working outdoors, walking and reading about nutrition.

She was a member of Burgettstown Presbyterian Church.

On July 5, 1946, she married James Reid, who died January 6, 1993.

Surviving are a son, John (Tina) Reid of Weirton, W.Va.; a daughter, Jessica (Richard) Dettore of Weirton; three grandchildren, Cherie Pettit, Lori (Dave) Byers and John Reid; six great-grandchildren, Brandon, Jeremy, DJ, Kevin, Riley and Paige; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are a son, James Reid, and siblings Mary Schultz, John, Steve, Frank and Mike Maczko, Florence Giacomel, Helen Nicola and Irene Salansky.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Taucher Funeral Home, 23 Erie Mine Road, Burgettstown, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 13, with the Rev. Cinda Isler officiating. Interment will follow in Grandview Cemetery, Florence.
