Dale L. Anders
Dale L. Anders, 72, of Scenery Hill, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Monongahela, a son of the late Robert and Bessie Milhoan Anders.
Mr. Anders was a 1964 graduate of Ellsworth High School.
He was employed by Eighty Four Mining Co. as a supervisor for 33 years and was also a self-employed taxidermist in Scenery Hill for 28 years.
Mr. Anders was a member of United Mine Workers of America, Ellsworth Sportsman’s Club and National Rifle Association.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time at his camp in Bradford. He especially loved spending time with his family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
On July 8, 1988, he married Patricia Camp, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are three children, Dale R. Anders, Lori Ann McKeta, both of Columbus, Ohio, and Tracy Anders Thompson (Greg) of Washington; stepchildren Debbie Prisinzano and Terry Prisinzano, both of Vineland, N.J., George Lavis of Tallahassee, Fla., and Mike Lehman (Kim) of Scenery Hill; four sisters, Hazel Ritter of Eighty Four, Bessie Boyd (William) of Cayuga, N.Y., Diana Zamiska (Frank) of Bentleyville and Almeda D’Amico (Lou) of Sagertown; three brothers, John Anders (Marlene) of Washington, Eugene Anders (Beverly) of Van Voorhis and Robert Anders (Mary Lou) of Owega, N.Y.; eight grandchildren, Dylan (Karlee), Heather (Travis), Kala, Steven (Clorisa), Hayley (Tyler), Jenna, Georgie and Crystal; two great-grandchildren, Mila and Reagan; and several nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to his parents, is sister Bernice Anders.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main Street, Bentleyville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18. Interment will be private.
