William Patrick Beadling, 91, of Burgettstown, passed away Sunday, January 14, 2018, in his home.

He was born July 16, 1926, in Barberton, Ohio, a son of the late James John Beadling and Leona Bibby Herman.

Also deceased are his wife Dolores Sessi Beadling, February 5, 1999; son Thomas “Boomer” Beadling; and brother James Beadling.

Mr. Beadling retired from Weirton Steel, where he served as director of purchasing.

He was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Bulger, Knights of Columbus 3734, Weirton Elks Lodge 1801 and the Savages. He was an avid golfer who enjoyed gardening, the companionship of his dog and spending time with his family at the lake.

Mr. Beadling was a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Pacific Theatre during World War II.

He is survived by his sons, Tim (Maria) Beadling of Delmont, Bill Beadling of Weirton, W.Va., and Dan (Susan) Beadling of Burgettstown; daughters Maureen (Joseph) Piccillo of Doylestown, Karen (Wilson) Renne of Amity, Kathleen (Thomas) Williams of Indianapolis, Ind., Colleen (Osman) Guler of Ellicott City, Md., and Eileen (Patrick) Doran of Topeka, Kan.; half-brother John Beadling and half-sister Yvonne Ligett; 17 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Greco-Hertnick Funeral Home, 3219 Main Street, Weirton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, January 18, in St. Ann Catholic Church, Bulger, with Father Bob Staszewski officiating.
