On Friday, January 5, 2018, Dorothy Louise Schreiber Donley Bevan, 68, of The Villages, Fla., passed away due to complications from bypass surgery.

She was born September 13, 1949, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Colin B. and Sarah Leister Schreiber of McDonald.

Mrs. Bevan attended Fort Cherry High School.

She married Harold Ron Donley, and they had a daughter, Kelly. Her husband was killed November 22, 1969, and on September 2, 1972, she married Harold Lee Bevan. They lived in Virginia Beach, Va., Indianapolis, Ind., Sierra Vista, Ariz., Munich and Worms, Germany, Thurmont, Md., and for the last 12 years in The Villages, Fla.

She and her husband enjoyed golf and tours throughout Europe, along with cross-country skiing. She was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution and had completed extensive genealogy.

She leaves behind her husband, Lee; a daughter, Kelly; two granddaughters, Sarah and Rachel; and three great-grandsons, all of Florida; and two brothers, John (Ruth) of Scott Township and Ed (Marie) of Coraopolis.

Mrs. Bevan was a great caregiver to her family and will be missed by her family and friends around the world.
