Mabel E. McMichael, 98, of Washington, formerly of Charleroi, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018, in Golden LivingCenter, Canonsburg.
She was born April 10, 1919, in Charleroi, a daughter of the late Blanche Kibler and Elmer Kissler.
Mrs. McMichael was a longtime member of Charleroi First Methodist Church.
She was formerly employed with Colonial Consumer Discount Co., Charleroi.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Jordan and husband J. Ronald of Washington; two grandchildren, Randy Jordan and Melissa Badon; and three great-grandchildren, Jace Jordan and Eli and Quinn Badon.
Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Fulton G. McMichael, who died in 1967; and a brother, Carl Kissler, who died in 1945.
A woman of faith and the heart of the McMichael-Jordan family, Mrs. McMichael shaped their spirituality through her tireless Christian example. She loved going to church, serving Meals on Wheels, crocheting, quilting, clogging and playing games with her grandchildren. She lived a life of service and charity.
Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 226 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 20. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
