Gunther J. Kaier, 79, of Bethel Park, formerly of McMurray, passed away peacefully Monday, January 22, 2018.
Born April 23, 1938, in Villach, Austria, he was a son of the late Johanna and Johann Kaier.
He was the beloved husband of Charlene Kaier for 41 years; loving father of Jeff (Tracy) Kaier, Greg (Sherry) Kaier and Natalie Larson; cherished grandfather of Hanna, Jeremy, Gillian and Alec; dear brother of Monika Ziegler; and uncle of Ute and Peter.
He loved to ski and drive fast. He also enjoyed bowling and playing tennis.
He was the proprietor of Gunther J. Kaier Architects Inc. He was self-employed from 1977 until retirement.
Family and friends are welcome from 3 to 7 p.m., the time of service, Friday, January 26, in Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
