Jeremy Holmes, 26, of Washington, passed away January 26, 2018, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. He was born May 8, 1991, in Pittsburgh.
He was a beloved son of Suzanne and William Strnisha Jr. and Thomas and Beverly Holmes; dear brother of Travis Holmes, James R. Fuller and Mariah Strnisha; loving stepbrother of Melodee Sharbutt and Kenneth McIlroy II; and cherished grandson of Robert and Artie Dupke and Judy Coulter.
He was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.
His interests included computer gaming and watching crime shows on TV. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved to spend time fishing and camping. He was a Pokemon fan, and his favorite character was Pikachu. He traveled vicariously through Google Earth. He was the happiest when he was spending time with friends and family. He will be sorely missed by his favorite companion, Gigi the black cat.
Friends and family are welcome from 2 until the time of service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, January 30, at Cremation and Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546.
