Mrs. Buttlar visited Ireland several times, where she met many cousins who welcomed her warmly. She loved to sit in front of the fire with a cup of good Irish tea.
“Mom, our lives will forever be changed without you. You are the most loving, caring soul we will ever know. Your memory will shine on always.”
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3, in St. John Capistran Church, 1610 McMillan Road, Upper St. Clair, followed there by a gathering of friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warriors Project or Upper St. Clair Library, where she spent many happy hours.
