Jonathon Dague Winnett
Jonathon Dague Winnett, 70, of Amity, died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, in his home.
He was born January 5, 1948, in Washington, a son of the late Wallace Winnett and Opal Dague Winnett.
Mr. Winnett graduated from Trinity High School and worked at Washington Steel and Hapchuck Inc. as a truck driver. A farmer all his life, he owned a 180-acre farm in Amity.
Mr. Winnett was a member of Amwell Township Zoning Board and served on Washington County Fair Board for many years.
He loved his grandchildren and attending their many activities.
On December 2, 1978, he married Donna Romanetti, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Amanda (Peter) Janovich of Claysville and Megan (William) Ruse of Bentleyville; two brothers, Jay (Pat) Winnett of Amity and Duane (Toni) Winnett of Frederick, Md.; three sisters, Sally (Glee) Duff of Fort Myers, Fla., Marylee Winnett of Spring Hills, Fla., and Donna (Michael) Guthrie of Colorado Springs, Colo.; three grandchildren, Maura and Eliana Janovich and Ava Ruse; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in William G. Neal Funeral Homes Ltd., 925 Allison Avenue, Washington, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 13. Burial will follow in Amity Methodist Church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to South Franklin-Morris 4H Club and mailed to the funeral home.
