Johanna M. Buri, 81, passed away peacefully Monday, July 9, 2018.

Beloved wife for 64 years to the late Frank Buri Sr.; loving mother of Frank (Cindy) Buri Jr., Donna (Fred) Carper and Russell (Ronna Brown) Buri; cherished grandmother of Jason (Emily) Buri, Travis (Shannon) Buri, Brandon (Hannah) Carper, Marshal (Caris) Carper, Ryan (Noel) Carper, Brooke Ebeling, Randi Buri and Daniel Ebeling; great-grandmother of Adalyn and Arabella Buri; and dear sister of Anna Marie.

Also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

Johanna loved bowling, knitting/crocheting and reading. She enjoyed going on cruises and doing volunteer work. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and family. She was a proud member of Red Hat Society, Women of St. Benedict’s and an original member of St. Benedict Bell Choir.

Family and friends are welcome from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Cremation & Funeral Care, 3287 Washington Road, McMurray, PA 15317, 724-260-5546. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, in St. Benedict the Abbot Church, 120 Abington Drive, McMurray, PA 15317. Burial will follow immediately in Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Peters Township.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
