Joyce Guzzi, 78, of Allenport, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018, in her home, with family by her side.
She was born August 21, 1939, in Monongahela, a daughter of John and Sylvia McDough Furnier.
Joyce was a retired licensed practical nurse, having worked at Country Meadows.
She was a member of Roscoe United Methodist Church and really enjoyed playing cards on the internet.
On May 31, 1958, she married George “Red” Guzzi. They just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her son and daughter-in-law, John and Tracy Guzzi of Allenport, and two grandchildren, Sean Guzzi of McKeesport and Alayna Guzzi of Arizona.
She was preceded in death by a grandson, Dylan Guzzi.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Melenyzer Funeral Homes & Cremation Services Inc., 1008 Furlong Avenue, Roscoe, where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, with the Rev. Brian Carroll officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
