Diana Lynn Kriznik Charlier
Diana Lynn Kriznik Charlier, 61, of Bulger, passed away after a 17-month illness Saturday evening, July 14, 2018, in her home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born December 12, 1956, in Canonsburg, a daughter of Betty J. Kriznik of Slovan and the late Walter Kriznik.
A 1975 graduate of Union High School in Burgettstown, she also earned her degree as a dental assistant from Median School of Allied Health in Pittsburgh.
She retired in 2016 from GlaxoSmithKline in Robinson Township, where she was a senior customer service and logistics representative.
Diana enjoyed flower gardening and shopping, especially for antiques. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson, Carter, and friends.
Surviving, in addition to her mother, are her two sons, Jeremy Charlier and fiancée Jessica Hall of Joffre and Joshua M. Charlier of Bulger; her grandson, Carter Robert Charlier; sister Michele Meneely and husband Charles of Burgettstown; sister-in-law Cathy Kriznik of Washington; brother-in-law James Trimarki of Burgettstown; and five nieces and nephews, Brandon Kriznik, Courtney Caldwell, Kyle and Jena Trimarki and Erik Haspel.
Deceased, in addition to her father, is her brother, Walter L. Kriznik, and her twin sister, Debra Ann Trimarki.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Lee & Martin Funeral Home, 73 Highland Avenue, Burgettstown, where a blessing service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 19, with the Rev. Bob Staszewski, pastor of St. Ann Roman Catholic Church in Bulger, officiating. Inurnment will be held privately at a later date in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Burgettstown.
Because of the exceptional and compassionate care given to Diana by Dr. Patrick Kane and the staff of UPMC Cancer Center Medical Oncology in Washington, memorial donations may be made in her memory to her family, to be donated to other patients and their families while undergoing treatment and recovery.
