Mollie A. “Molly” Kotecki, 93, of Finleyville, died Sunday, July 22, 2018, in Monongahela Valley Hospital, Carroll Township.
She was born March 26, 1925, in Monongahela, a daughter of Clyde and Juletta O’Conner Ruse.
Mrs. Kotecki was a homemaker and member of St. Francis of Assisi Church in Finleyville.
She was a volunteer at Monongahela Senior Center for more than 30 years. She enjoyed playing cards, casino trips and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Surviving are a son, Raymond W. Kotecki of Finleyville; a daughter, Donna Mitchell (Mark) of Finleyville; a brother, Bill Ruse of Bentleyville; a granddaughter, Hailey Kotecki; four great-grandchildren, Noah, Aiden, Ethan and Austin; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, Raymond A. Kotecki, who died in August 1994; a daughter, Carol Ann Parsons; a brother, Donald Ruse; and four sisters, June Aiello, Darlene Allridge, Patricia Myers and Betty Hanratty.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville, where a blessing service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 25. Interment will follow in Finleyville Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
