Henry W. Dittmer Jr.
Henry W. Dittmer Jr., 90, of McMurray, died Friday, July 27, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of 66 years to Lois Funaiock Dittmer and cherished brother of Ella Mae (the late Bern) Held.
Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Henry W. and Margaret Windhager Dittmer Sr., and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Norma and Jim Lynch.
Also surviving are many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Henry worked for 44 years at Duquesne Light. He served for two years in the U.S. Army in Japan during World War II.
He loved to travel with with his wife, Lois.
Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday in Warchol Funeral Home Inc., 3060 Washington Pike, Bridgeville, 412-221-3333. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 31, in Zion Lutheran Church, Bridgeville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
