Dale E. Gray
Dale E. Gray, 70, died Sunday, June 3, 2018, in Wheeling (W. Va.) Hospital, W.Va., after a lengthy illness.
He was born January 28, 1948, in Wheeling, a son of George Gray and Martha Hartzell Gray. Both parents are deceased, as well as a sister, Martha M. Hoagan, and a brother, Leo Gray.
Dale has a surviving sister, Diane Keener.
He married Kathy McCracken Gray and they have two sons, Dean and Rick Gray, both of Dallas, W.Va., and a beautiful granddaughter, Megan Arlene Gray of Dallas, also survive.
Dale proudly served three years in the U.S. Army and served a tour in Vietnam. He worked as a welder for Valley Camp Coal, Lagonda Machine and Columbia Gas as both a welder and supervisor. Dale loved to hunt and fish.
