Joseph S. Glemba

Joseph S. Glemba, 77, of Mechanicsburg, passed away Saturday, June 2, 2018, in his home, surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 20, 1940, in Ellsworth, he was a son of the late Joseph A. and Mary A. Husarcik Glemba.

Joe worked as an electrical engineer contractor for the Central Intelligence Agency for over 20 years. He was a Vietnam War veteran, serving in the Marine Corps, Black Ops. Joe enjoyed “tinkering,” often helping his family, friends and neighbors. He was a member of Camp Hill United Methodist Church.

Joe is survived by his loving wife, Marlene Spurling Glemba; three children, Michelle R. Sneidman and husband Todd of Mechanicsburg, Michael A. Redslob and wife Nelda of Loveland, Ohio, and Kimberly N. Gianfortti and husband AJ of Mechanicsburg; sister Alberta Blackburn and husband Jerry of Ellsworth; eight grandchildren, Trent and Taylor Sneidman, Caleb, Keegan and Brennan Redslob, Brittany and Lindsay Johnson and Benjamin Ward; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Lojek, and grandson Brody Ward.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 11, in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
