Robert “Bud” Garrett, 60, of Claysville, went home to rest in his Lord’s house following a brief illness, May 27, 2018.
Born June 4, 1957, in Washington, he was a son of the late Robert “Bob” and Mae Stage Garrett.
Bud lived most of his life in Claysville, where he was known as a gentle and kind guy who kept to himself and enjoyed spending time with his friends, camping and fishing. He attended Washington High School and then became self-employed as a handyman and carpenter, having learned the trade of carpentry from his father, Bob, and uncle James “Jim.”
Surviving are five brothers, Glen (Shirley) of Claysville, William “Bill” of Taylorstown, Dennis (Sue) of Waynesburg and Barry and Tim, both of Washington, and two sisters, Sandy Gomez and Linda McGowan, both of Washington. Also surviving are many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and nieces and many cousins.
Services for Bud will be held at a later date and time.
“Rest with our Lord, Bud, until we meet again one day.”
