Virginia A. Stewart, 82, of Rices Landing, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018, in Transitions Healthcare, South Strabane Township.
She was born July 31, 1935, in Shinnston, W.Va., a daughter of the late Doyle Westfall and Stella M. Kettle Westfall.
She graduated from high school in Shinnston.
On September 28, 1966, she married Edwin B. Stewart, who passed away December 4, 2009.
Mrs. Stewart worked as a nursing assistant at Greenery Center in Canonsburg.
She was a member of First Baptist Church in Carmichaels.
Surviving are a daughter, Virginia A. Jones of Joffre; two sons, Eugene E. Miles Jr. of Mt. Pleasant and Donald Miles of Cocoa, Fla.; and a brother, Gilbert Westfall of Shinnston.
Deceased are sisters Cora Lee Oliver, Patty Davis and Betty Boyd and brother John Westfall.
At Mrs. Stewart’s request, services were private. Arrangements were entrusted to Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 1477 Jefferson Road, Jefferson.
