Eugene L. “Gene” Orlandi, 58, of Richeyville, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018, in Niles, Ohio.

He was born February 20, 1960, in Washington, the eldest son of Eugene A. and Vivian L. Davis Orlandi of Richeyville, who survive him.

Gene was a member of Beth-Center High School, Class of 1978.

He was employed by Tri-County Joint Municipal Authority for 20 years.

Gene enjoyed hunting, being outdoors and spending time with family, especially his children and grandchildren. He was always smiling and will be remembered for his kind, friendly demeanor and sense of humor.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are four children, Gene W. Orlandi (Melissa) of Brownsville, Christin Brown (Caleb) of Seattle, Wash., Jarett Orlandi of Warren, Ohio, and Paige Orlandi (fiancé Drew) of Daisytown; five grandchildren, Karly, Mya and Geno Orlandi and Enzo and Lucia Brown; sister Wendy Mucho (Dave) and brother Terry Orlandi, both of Richeyville; maternal grandmother Jerry Davis of Brownsville;and three nephews, Drew Frost and Kyle and Breyden Mucho.

Gene is preceded in death by a nephew Randy Frost and maternal grandfather Skip Davis.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 15, with Pastor Julie Kolacz officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Lung Association, 810 River Avenue, Suite 140, Pittsburgh, PA 15212.
