Martha J. Krenzelak

Martha J. Krenzelak, 91, of Washington, died Thursday, June 14, 2018, in her daughter’s home, surrounded by family.

She was born March 3, 1927, in Zanesville, Ohio, a daughter of the late James E. and Anna M. Combi Butler.

Mrs. Krenzelak attended Trinity High School and was a homemaker.

She was a member of Central Assembly of God, Houston.

Her husband, John K, Krenzelak, died January 20, 2015.

She enjoyed square dancing and was able to play eight musical instruments. She loved spending time at her son’s cabin in Big Bear Lake, W.Va. She was an accomplished seamstress and loved knitting and crocheting. She was a prolific canner, known for giving gifts of canned fruits and vegetables to family and friends, expecting no payment except for return of the empty jar when finished.

Surviving are a son, John N. Krenzelak, and a daughter, Cynthia Ann (Terry) Angeletti, both of Washington; a grandson, Damien (Kerri) Angeletti of Washington; and three great-grandchildren, Kalli, Kenzi and Logun Angeletti.

Deceased are two sisters, Katherine Ferri and a sister who died in infancy, Mary Butler.

Visitation and services were held Sunday and Monday in Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington, with Pastor Catherine Peternel officiating. Interment followed in Forest Lawn Gardens, McMurray.

Arrangements are entrusted to Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Directors Inc., Charles R. Piatt, owner/supervisor, Lawrence K. Donovan, director.
