Shirley A. Richards, 81, of Washington, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 14, 2018, in her home. She was born February 18, 1937, in Washington.

Shirley loved life, her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and spent as much time with her family as life allowed.

She worked in retail for years, enjoyed going to the casino, jazz festivals, watching her grandchildren entertain her and seeing her great-grandchildren grow. Her family was the most important part of her life, and she will be forever in their hearts.

Shirley is preceded in death by her mother, Romaine Berry; her spouses George Warner and Melvin Richards; and a son, Gayle Warner.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Shawn Williams (Glenn), Stephanie Anderson and Michael Warner (Mary); her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Services are under the care of Lantz Funeral Home Inc., 297 East Main Street, Uniontown. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, June 20, with service immediately following in Nazareth Baptist Church, 123 North Lincoln Street, Washington.
