Carl E. Crow, 60, of Charleroi (Speers Borough) passed away Saturday, June 23, 2018, in UPMC-Presbyterian hospital, Pittsburgh.
He was born January 3, 1958, in Fayette County, a son of the late Charles and Virginia Ball Crow.
Mr. Crow was a 1975 graduate of California Area High School.
He was employed as an equipment operator with the state Department of Transportation for 35 years, retiring in 2014.
Carl was a member of Charleroi Sportsmen’s Association.
He enjoyed the outdoors, attending county fairs, camping with friends in Clymer and spending as much time as possible with his only granddaughter, Olivia.
On November 4, 1982, he married Robin Ellis, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Jason Crow (Rachel Wolfe) of Charleroi and Nathan Crow of Bentleyville; a brother, Charles Crow of Monessen; and a granddaughter, Olivia Marie Crow.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home Ltd., 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 29, with Pastor Laura Blank officiating. Interment will follow in Monongahela Cemetery.
