Billie Jo Moore Rinehart, 74, of High Point, N.C., formerly of Waynesburg, passed away Friday, March 2, 2018.
She was born May 28, 1943, in Waynesburg, to the late Ralph and Mildred Shultz Moore. On September 29, 1961, she married Paul “Buzz” Rinehart, who died February 10, 2012.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Bali Khan of High Point. Her grandchildren, Tyler Rinehart and Preston and Paige Khan, were her pride and joy.
Also surviving are her siblings, Mark and Jo Moore of Rogersville, Joyce and Francis Baldwin Jr. of Waynesburg, Ann and Roy Hale of La Plata, M.D., Richard “Shorty” Moore of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; and Carol Engle of Waynesburg.
She will also be missed by 13 nieces and nephews.
Deceased, in addition to her parents and husband, are her son, Richard Paul “Rikk” Rinehart, and two brothers, James L. Moore and Jerry Moore.
During her career, she brought laughter to customers and patients at Krency’s Bakery and Greene County Memorial Hospital. She was also an active and devoted member of Washington Street United Methodist Church before she moved to High Point. There, she joined Covenant United Methodist Church.
She will be remembered as a wonderful mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend.
At her request, all visitation and services were private with the Rev. William Parker officiating. Burial was in Rosemont Cemetery, Rogersville. Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, of 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, were in charge of arrangements.
