Georgia Diniaco, daughter of the late Spero and Rita Nicholas, peacefully surrendered to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Thursday, March 8, 2018.

She was beloved and blessed by her dear husband and buddy, Marcus, of 59 years. She will be eternally loved by her son, Phillip Diniaco and wife Andrea of Erie; son Steven Diniaco of The Woodlands, Texas; and daughter Stellani Coleman and husband Christopher of McMurray. She will also be loved forever for her kindness, compassion and support by her grandchildren, Marcus, Athan, Dimitri and Sophia Diniaco and Eleni and Christian Coleman, as they all gave her many cherished memories of joy and laughter.

She is survived by her brother, Gus Nicholas and wife Amalia; nephew Spero and his family; her dear cousin, Nick Nicholas and wife Sandy; and all of her other caring cousins who are too many to mention.

Her ultimate happiness in life was being together with her husband as they were able to raise their children, witness their beautiful grandchildren mature, and enjoy their dear family and meaningful friends.

Family and friends will be received 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 123 Gilkeson Road, Pittsburgh. Trisagion service will be held at 7 p.m. Additional visitation will be held at 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, with services at 11 a.m. with Father Michael Kallaur, Father George Livanos and Father Dragan Filipovic officiating. Entombment will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, Pittsburgh.

Arrangements were entrusted to Sollon Funeral and Cremation Services Ltd., 30 East College Street, Canonsburg, 724-746-1000, Phillip L. Sollon, supervisor, J. David Sollon, director.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests memorial contributions be made in her name to All Saints Greek Orthodox Church Philoptochos; Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church Youth Programs; Nativity of the Theotokos Greek Orthodox Monastery in Saxonburg; The Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration in Ellwood City; Dr. Nathan Bahary Research Foundation at Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburgh; or St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Huntington, W.Va.
