Betty J. Holt, 82, of Finleyville, died Thursday, March 8, 2018, in the home of her granddaughter.
She was born September 19, 1935, in Elrama, a daughter of Mike and Elizabeth Savel Poziviak.
Mrs. Holt had been employed as a beautician at the former Todd’s House of Beauty in Finleyville.
She was a member of Mingo Presbyterian Church in Finleyville.
Surviving are a son, Gary “Moose” Holt of Finleyville; two brothers, Mike Poziviak of Columbus, Ohio, and John Poziviak of Dunlevy; granddaughter Lauren Powell (Chris) of Finleyville; two great-grandsons, Hunter and Waylon Powell; and many nieces and nephews.
Deceased are her husband, John “Jack” Holt, who died in August 2017, and daughter, Deborah Graham.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday in Kegel Funeral Home Inc., Tim P. Kegel, supervisor, David. P. Kegel, director, 3560 Washington Avenue, Finleyville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 12, in Mingo Presbyterian Church, 561 Mingo Church Road, Finleyville. Everyone meet at the church Monday morning. Private interment will be in Mingo Cemetery, Union Township.
