Mary E. Eddy, 80, of Washington, died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, in Donnell House, Washington.

She was born Friday, December 17, 1937, in Dallas, W.Va., a daughter of the late Fred and Agnes Chetester Crouser.

Mrs. Eddy was a member of Pleasant Grove Church, Prosperity.

For 16 years, she worked in housekeeping and laundry service at Curry Home and was a homemaker.

Surviving are a daughter, Doris Eddy of Washington; five sons, Edward G. (Ethel) Eddy of Sycamore, Leroy C. Eddy of Elyria, Ohio, Eugene P. (Joyce) Eddy of Lawrenceburg, Ky., Stanley L. (Lisa) Eddy of Crucible and Dennis A. (Lori) Eddy of Prosperity; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Wanita Walsh of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased are a grandson, Derek Eddy; three sisters; and three brothers.

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the time of services, Friday, March 23, in Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home Inc., Daryl L. Throckmorton, owner/director, 197 North Maiden Street, Waynesburg, PA 15370. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Wayne Township.
