Sherri L. Scrip Duel
Sherri L. Scrip Duel, 44, of Scenery Hill, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, March 18, 2018.
She was born December 28, 1973, in North Charleroi, a daughter of Cheryl Volk Scrip and the late Joseph O. Scrip.
Mrs. Duel was a 1991 graduate and salutatorian of Monessen High School. She attended Westmoreland College, becoming a registered nurse.
She was a homemaker and previously worked as a registered nurse at various area hospitals.
Mrs. Duel was an avid flower gardener who loved her children and their activities, her dogs and the beach.
On April 5, 2008, she married Dr. Andrew F. Duel VMD, who survives.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her mother, Cheryl Volk Scrip (fiancé Mike Zappone) of Latrobe; four children, Courtney Jo Ambrose and Alyssa, Daniel and Connor Duel, all at home; brother, Joseph P. Scrip Sr. (Robin) of Farmington; nephew, Joseph P. Scrip Jr.; and a niece, Katie Nunley.
Friends will be received from 1 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 22, in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville. Services and interment will be private.
