Mary M. Bailey, 79, of Madison, Ohio, formerly of Fredericktown, passed away Monday, March 19, 2018.

She was born April 14, 1938, in Deemston Borough, a daughter of the late John and Helen Bartus Kravets Popielarczyk.

Mrs. Bailey was a 1956 graduate of Centerville High School.

She was employed as a certified nursing assistant at Country Meadows for many years and later as a private duty health care provider.

She was a member of the Christ Church Anglican, Brownsville, the Miners Club, Richeyville, and former member of Christian Mothers and Ladies Guild of St. Michael Church, Fredericktown.

Mrs. Bailey truly enjoyed taking care of the elderly and making friends. She was also an avid supporter of veterans organizations.

Surviving are five children, Joseph P. Bailey Jr. (Connie) of Olive Branch, Miss., Helen Stauffer (James) of Madison, Michael Bailey (Nanette) of Chambersburg, Patrick J. Bailey (Tracey) of Stephens City, Va., and the Rev. John Paul Bailey (Karen) of New Kensington; two sisters, Frances Cunningham (Robert) of Centerville and Helen Bartus of Millsboro, Del.; 13 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Deceased, in addition to her parents, are her husband, Joseph P. Bailey; sister Joanne Chiste; brother Carl Popielarczyk; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday in John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 24, in Christ Church, 319 Church Street, Brownsville, PA 15417, with the Most Rev. Robert W. Duncan, Archbishop Emeritus of the Anglican Church of North America, and the Rev. Kirk B. Haas officiating. Interment will follow in Westland Cemetery, Brownsville.
